01The problem
Nigerians have lost money to strangers on the internet for years, paid and never received, sold and never paid, with no real trust layer between buyer and seller. Twizrr set out to fix that: a marketplace where a transaction started on a browser or inside a WhatsApp chat is protected the same way, start to finish.
02Key decisions
- 01
The identity had to carry that trust promise before a single word of copy did. The wordmark and the “ZZ” mark were built to feel engineered rather than decorative, sharp angles and geometric weight that read more like a security seal than a typical marketplace logo. The color system pairs a bold saffron against a near-black espresso, loud enough to stand out inside a crowded WhatsApp thread, structured enough not to read as another flashy fintech app.
- 02
The bigger decision was designing for two channels at once. Most identity work assumes one primary surface. Twizrr had to look and feel consistent whether someone met it inside a WhatsApp conversation or on a full site, since that dual-channel promise was the actual product.
03Outcome
Full brand identity delivered, wordmark, mark, and color and type system built around the trust-first positioning.
